GRANT INFORMATION
Public health care institutions and non-profit societies funding health care facilities are invited to submit proposals for financial assistance. The deadline for proposals to September 30th, of each year.

Application Guidelines
All applications must be in writing and provide the following information to be considered for the yearly grant program.
Successful proposals must demonstrate significant patient benefit and community impact, high probability for success, clear budget details and a plan to measure results.
Particular consideration will be given to projects that can provide innovative solutions for health and social problems in New Westminster and surrounding communities. These include requests that provide innovate and creative solutions for a well-documented and outstanding need.
No consideration will be given to requests for programs that already exist, basic new or replacement equipment, capital campaigns, operating and maintenance costs for existing programs, expenses already incurred and administration costs.
All applicants will be advised of the status of their grant request by November 1, of the current year.
All successful applicants are required to submit a report upon completion of the project or program. This report must include details of expenditure and appropriate documentation.

Application Format
All applications must provide complete information in the following order:
1. Applicant’s name, address and postal code. Contact name, phone, fax and e-mail and charity registration number.
2. Title of Proposal
3. Summary of Proposal defining need, impact on target group and community, solution and benefits.
4. Budget for project or program
5. Project measurement
6. Other sources of funds for project
7. A covering letter on organization/institution letterhead, signed by program director or executive officer providing a synopsis of the proposal and amount requested.
NOTE: All grant applications must not exceed five typewritten pages including cover letter.
No photographs or other materials are required to support the application.
